Disk Storage
This is the total amount of storage space used by your web site, email, and MySQL databases (if applicable) but does not include log files.

Monthly Data Transfer
The amount of data transferred to and from your account. This includes HTTP (web), SMTP (email sending), POP3/IMAP (email downloading), and FTP (file upload/download) traffic.

Email Aliases
Email Aliases allow you to have multiple email addresses for one email account. For example, you could create a an email account, admin@example.com, and have the aliases sales@example.com and support@example.com all send to the admin@example.com account.

Email Autoresponders
Email autoresponders allow you to setup an automatic response email that would be sent when mail is received by an account.

Catchall Email Account
A catchall account can be set up which would receive email addressed to nonexistent accounts at your domain.

POP/IMAP Access
If you are using an email client to check your mail, you can use either POP or IMAP to access the account.

WebMail
WebMail allows you to access your email account using only a web browser.

Email Quota Control
As a domain owner, you will be able to set email storage quotas for your users.

SpamAssassin
SpamAssassin scans incoming mail and tags spam which can be filtered using your email client. This is disabled by default.

Email Defense
Email Defense allows domain owners to set policies for filtering spam, viruses, and attachments from their email. Messages can be quarantined and each user receives a daily quarantine report and can release or delete messages using a web link. This is an additional cost service. Email Antivirus Filtering
All incoming and outgoing email is scanned for viruses using Clamav. Any emails containing viruses are not delivered. Due to the proliferation of viruses which forge the sender, we do not send virus notifications to the sender or recipient.

AWStats
AWStats provides detailed site statistics in a nice looking interface. For a sample, see the AWStats demo site.

Static IP Address
Static IP addresses are only assigned to accounts using SSL certificates or temporarily for use in uploading and testing a site prior to DNS propagation.

Subdomains
Subdomains allow you to have a site at a different hostname at your domain. For example, you could create a subdomain photos.example.com if you owned example.com. Subdomain files are stored in a folder of your root web directory which is named the same as the hostname. In the example above, creating the subdomain photos.example.com would create a folder /photos in your main account. All files in the /photos folder become the web root of photos.example.com.

Domain Pointers
Domain pointers allow you to have multiple domain names point to your primary web site.

MySQL Databases
You can create as many MySQL databases as you like as long as you have the available storage space for your account.

MySQL Database/User Creation
You can create MySQL databases and users using the Control Panel.

phpMyAdmin
phpMyAdmin allows you to manage your MySQL databases using a Web browser.

FrontPage 2002 Extensions
FrontPage extensions allow you to publish your site using FrontPage.

Preinstalled CGI Scripts
The following scripts can be added to your site from the Control Panel:

• Random HTML - This is a random html generator. It picks a html string out of a list and inserts it in an SSI enabled web page. This is useful for "Quote of the Moment", and other similar things.
• GuestBook - This is a just a simple guestbook for your visitors to view and sign.
• Advanced GuestBook - This is a more advanced guestbook.
• Counter - You can create a counter to count how many visitors have been to your site.
• Clock - This utility will create a real time java clock for your site.
• Countdown - You can create a countdown box to countdown to a specified date.
• CGI EMail - cgiemail can make nicely formatted forms output in email that has been submitted over the web.
• FormMail Clone - FormMail-clone is a clone of Matt Wright's FormMail
• Entropy Search - A basic site search engine
• Entropy Banner - This feature allows you to create rotating banner ads.

Fantastico
Fantastico allows common PHP scripts to be added to your site from the Control Panel. See the Fantastico site for a list of applications.

SSL Support
SSL certificates can be used on plans with SSL support. A certificate is not provided by AHS, you will need to purchase one. You can purchase a GeoTrust SSL certificate during the signup process or at any time after.

Web-based Control Panel
You will be able to manage your account using Cpanel, an industry standard, web-based control panel.

FTP Accounts
You will have a master FTP account which has full access to your files. You can also create additional FTP accounts to allow third parties (such as web designers) to access your site files.

Password Protected Directories
Using your web-based control panel, you can easily set up password protected directories.

On Demand Backups
Using your web-based control panel, you can schedule and download a backup o your site and databases (if applicable) at any time. Nightly backups are also available for download.

Web File Manager
Using your web-based control panel, you can manage your web site files quickly and easily.
